Togari Ski and Snowboard School is officially recognized by the Ski Association of Japan (SAJ) and offers private ski and snowboarding lessons in English. Instructors are limited so we recommend making a booking well in advance.

lesson course
- All lessons are conducted at Togari Onsen Snow Resort in principle. Subject to inter-resort confirmation, it may be possible to conduct Private Full Day Lessons at other resorts as part of a multiple-day lesson reservation. Transportation is not included.
- Group lessons are subject to availability. Register in advance to join the WAIT LIST. Once two participants register and pay, the lesson will be confirmed. In some instances, the lesson may not be confirmed until just before the lesson begins. The lesson will not be conducted with 1 student.
- Minimum age is 4 years old for skiing, 6 years old for snowboarding, and 8 years old for groups.
- Payment in full by credit card or domestic bank transfer is required to make a reservation.
- Instructors do not join participants for lunch breaks. Instructors may choose to join the partici-pants for lunch if invited and lunch is paid for by the participants and an adult is present.
- Rates do not include lift tickets or rental. If prepaid, we can prepare tickets at ticket window price.
- All participants are required to wear a helmet.

Terms and Conditions
EQUIPMENT
All equipment must be arranged by the customer prior to the start of the lesson, including skis, bindings, boots, outerwear, hat/helmet, gloves, goggles, and lift passes. If needed, we can provide guidance on where to rent these items.
LIFT CLOSURES
Lessons will be conducted as long as any lifts are operational. In the event of a complete resort closure (all lifts closed), we will make every effort to reschedule the booking to another date. If rescheduling is not feasible, we can offer a full refund.
CANCELLATION POLICY
- Cancellations made 14 or more days before the lesson: 50% refund of the booking price paid
- Cancellations made 7-14 days before the lesson: 25% refund of the booking price paid
- Cancellations made 2-6 days before the lesson: 10% refund of the booking price paid
- Cancellations made on the day of the lesson or the day before: 0% refund of the booking price paid. Not arriving at the designated meeting location and time will be considered a cancellation on the day.
MEDIA
The customer agrees to allow Togari Ski School and its affiliates to take pictures or videos during lessons for marketing purposes on its website and or social networking sites.
INJURY
While our instructors will make every effort to prevent customer/student injuries, skiing is inherently risky. Togari Ski School and its affiliates will not be held responsible for any death, injury, or damage to personal items sustained by guests or caused by customers/students to third parties. In the event of an injury, we will make every effort to provide assistance and care for the injured customer/student or third party. Togari Ski School is enrolled in insurance and stated insurance may be applied to cover part of the cost of treatment in the event of an injury sustained during a lesson. This insurance only covers participants who are enrolled in the lesson during lesson instruction time. If participants leave the lesson early, the insurance is no longer applicable. The insurance claim must be made in Japanese and only pays out to Japanese bank accounts. We do not assist with the claim process, so we strongly advise all guests to have their own reliable insurance coverage that includes winter sports.
